Duce Robinson Signs With USC Football

LOS ANGELES—Duce Robinson, an All-American tight end, has signed with the USC football program, USC head coach Lincoln Riley announced today (March 30).
Robinson will join the other 21 high school players who signed with USC to comprise USC's 2023 signing class: WR Zachariah Branch, OL Micah Banuelos, DB Maliki Crawford, LB Tackett Curtis, TE Kade Eldridge, DL Sam Greene, DL Elijah Hughes, RB Quinten Joyner, DL Deijon Laffitte, WR Ja'Kobi Lane, WR Makai Lemon, TE Walker Lyons, QB Malachi Nelson, OL Alani Noa, OL Elijah Paige, RUSH David Peevy, RB A'Marion Peterson, DB Christian Pierce, OL Tobias Raymond, RUSH Braylan Shelby and OL Amos Talalele.

TE Duce Robinson – Pinnacle HS (Ariz.)
He was a 2022 MaxPreps First Team All-American after he had 84 receptions for 1,614 yards (19.2 avg) and 14 TDs as a senior in 2022. Robinson was selected to the 2023 Under Armour All-American Game and the 2023 Polynesian Bowl. The 6-6, 225 pound tight end was named the 2022 6A Northeast Valley Region Offensive Player of Year. Defensively, he recorded 11 tackles with 1 for loss and 1 pass deflection. On special teams, he fielded punt returns and tallied 16 for 155 yards (9.7 avg.). He also made the 2022 Elite 11 7on7 All-Tournament Team. According to 247Sports Composite, Robinson is a five-star recruit and is the No. 1 ranked tight end in the nation, the No. 1 player in the state of Arizona and the No. 17 recruit in the nation.
As a junior, he was named to the 2021 MaxPreps Junior All-America First Team. He rushed for 43 yards on 4 carries (10.8 avg.), and tallied 60 receptions for 972 yards and 8 TDs. He also threw 1 TD pass for 29 yards.
As a sophomore, he was selected as a 2020 MaxPreps Sophomore All-American. He collected 27 receptions for 347 yards (12.9 avg.) and 2 TDs, and as a freshman, he tallied 4 receptions for 73 yards (18.3 avg.) and rushed for 16 yards on 1 carry.
Robinson is a two-sport standout and is a highly touted baseball recruit as well. He is an outfielder and competed in the 2022 Baseball Factory All-America Game and the 2022 Area Code Games. Robinson is the third athlete ever to be named "Under Armour All-American" in both baseball and football (joining Kyler Murray and AJ Brown).
His father, Dominic Robinson, played football at Florida State (2001-2004). Like Duce, his father was also a two-sport star coming out of high school as a five-star football recruit who was also drafted by the Minnesota Twins. His mother, Mary Beth Robinson, was a swimmer at Florida.
