Caleb Williams Named to Johnny Unitas Top 10 and Davey O’Brien Class of 2023

LOS ANGELES—Defending Heisman Trophy winner QB Caleb Williams has been named to the Johnny Unitas Golden Arm Award Top 10 and the Davey O'Brien QB Class of 2023.
The Johnny Unitas Golden Arm Award is presented to the nation's top upperclassman quarterback who best exemplifies character, scholastic and athletic achievement.
The Davey O'Brien National Quarterback Award is presented annually to the nation's best college quarterback.
Williams is 189-for-277 (.682) and has thrown 25 TDs for 2,646 yards. He has also rushed for 136 yards on 74 carries with 9 TDs. Williams is tied for most rushing TDs by a quarterback in the nation.
Williams is currently No. 1 in the nation in points responsible for (208), points responsible for per game (23.1), tied for No. 1 in the nation in passing touchdowns (25), No. 2 in the nation in passing yards (2,646), No. 7 in the nation in passing efficiency (175.4), No. 9 in the nation in yards per pass attempt (9.55), No. 9 in the nation in total offense (309.1) and No. 10 in the nation in passing yards per game (294.0). Over its time, the Davey O'Brien Foundation has given away more than $1.3 million in scholarships and university grants to help high school and college athletes transform leadership on the field into leadership in life.
The three finalists for the Davey O'Brien Award will be announced on Tuesday, Nov. 28, while the winner will be revealed live on Friday, Dec. 8, on The Home Depot College Football Awards on ESPN.
