USC Football Long Snapper Damon Johnson Named Mannelly Award Finalist

LOS ANGELES — USC senior long snapper Damon Johnson has been named one of 3 finalists for the 2021 Patrick Mannelly Award, given to the nation's top long snapper.
Johnson also was a finalist for the 2020 Mannelly Award.
The Award, presented by Zebra to benefit Bernie's Book Bank, is named after former NFL long snapper Patrick Mannelly.
Finalists will be named on Nov. 29 and the award ceremony is Dec. 11.
Joining Johnson as semifinalists are Cal Adomitis of Pittsburgh and Alex Ward of Central Florida.
Johnson is in his fifth season as USC's starting long snapper and has performed flawlessly. He was named to the 2021 Phil Steele pre-season All-American first team. He has snapped in 54 games in his career.
