USC Football Long Snapper Damon Johnson Named Mannelly Award Semifinalist

USC senior long snapper Damon Johnson has been named one of 10 semifinalists for the 2021 Patrick Mannelly Award, given to the nation's top long snapper.
Johnson was a finalist for the 2020 Mannelly Award.
The Award, presented by Zebra to benefit Bernie's Book Bank, is named after former NFL long snapper Patrick Mannelly.
Finalists will be named on Nov. 29 and the award ceremony is Dec. 11.
Joining Johnson as semifinalists are Cal Adomitis of Pittsburgh, Cameron Kaye of Troy, Brian Keating of Connecticut, Antonio Ortiz of TCU, Ross Reiter of Colorado State, Bradley Robinson of Ohio State, Oscar Shadley of Virginia Tech, Jordan Silver of Arkanas and Alex Ward of Central Florida.
Johnson is in his fifth season as USC's starting long snapper and has performed flawlessly. He was named to the 2021 Phil Steele pre-season All-American first team. He has snapped in 52 games in his career.
