Head Football Coach Clay Helton
"Today, guided by the recommendations of our doctors and medical professionals, the Pac-12 Conference has decided to postpone the 2020 football season. While I am extremely disappointed that our student-athletes and coaching staff will not get the opportunity to compete at this time, we will always support decisions that are made to protect the health and safety of our players and staff. I am very proud of how our football team has conducted themselves and for all the hard work they have put in this year in preparation for a season. Our university and athletics department are committed to providing all the services for our student-athletes to function at the highest level, both academically and athletically, while following all county, state, and national guidelines. I am confident that we will come out of this a stronger, more resilient football team and look forward to getting the opportunity to compete and showcase all the hard work that has been put in. Together, we will continue to Fight On!"

Head Women's Volleyball Coach Brad Keller
"Yesterday, guided by the recommendation of our doctors, medical professionals, and leaders, the Pac-12 Conference decided to postpone the 2020 volleyball season. I am devastated for our players, who have shown incredible resolve, patience, and commitment during these unprecedented times. While I am extremely disappointed that we will not be competing this fall, I fully support the decision. The health, safety, and well-being of our student-athletes and staff will always be our priority. Moving forward, we will continue to lean on one another through this next phase and emerge stronger and more resilient in 2021. I and the Women of Troy wish everyone continued health and safety during these uncertain times. Take care and as always, FIGHT ON!"

Head Women's Soccer Coach Keidane McAlpine
"The decision today from the Pac-12 is disappointing for everyone involved with our program, but we know it is done with the health and safety of our student-athletes and community in mind. I want to thank Mike Bohn, Dr. Folt, our USC medical team, and various support staff members for all of the care and support they have provided with regards to the health and well-being of our student-athletes. I know our players are struggling at the moment, but I also know how hardworking and resilient they are. I fully expect them to be ready to go when we are finally able to get back on the field and compete. Right now, we are here for them and we will get through this together."

Head Men's Water Polo Coach Marko Pintaric
"We are all disappointed not to have competition ahead this fall, similar to the disappointment we all felt when the women's season was cut short last spring. We were hoping to play and were looking forward to the season, but we have to think about safety first. It's always about the athletes and making sure that we do what is best for them, and for our campus and our community. I hope this pandemic gets under control so that we can get into training. It's important for our student-athletes' mental health to be able to get in the water and train together. We will fight on, and we are eager for the opportunity to compete for a national championship in the spring."
