Cockrell & Terry Named To CoSIDA Academic All-District 8 Team

Hurdler Anna Cockrell and sprinter TeeTee Terry were named to the CoSIDA 2020 All-Academic District 8 team, it was announced on May 29.
The 2020 Academic All-District®Women's Track & Field / Cross Country Team, selected by CoSIDA, recognizes the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the field and in the classroom. The CoSIDA Academic All-America® program separately recognizes track & field/cross country honorees in four divisions —NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA. Honorees selected first-team Academic All-District® will advance to the CoSIDA Academic All-America® ballot. Academic All-America® honorees will be announced from June 22-24.
Cockrell, from Charlotte, N.C., was the 2019 NCAA 400m hurdles champion and is a 10-time All-American. The 3-time captain graduated from USC with a degree in Communication and a minor in Political Science with a 3.98 grade-point average (GPA). She currently is working on a graduate degree in Public Policy and has a 4.0 GPA.
Terry, from Miami, Fla., won the 2019 NCAA 60m dash title, is a 2-time Pac-12 100m champion and is a 5-time All-American. Terry, a 2020 team captain, graduated with a degree in Communication with a minor in Forensics & Criminality, while posting a 3.68 GPA. She will now begin work on a master's in Entrepreneurship and Innovation.
