Of those December signees, four graduated early from high school and enrolled at USC in January (Bryant, Jackson, Lewis, Pepe). All will participate in the upcoming spring practice. The other eight December signees and Yary will join the Trojan program in the fall as freshmen.

YARY—He made 2019 Tacoma News Tribune Western 100 and Riverside Press-Enterprise All-Area second team as a senior tight end at Murrieta (Calif.) Valley High. He had 42 receptions for 621 yards (14.8 avg) with 12 TDs and 7 carries for 21 yards (3.0 avg) with 3 TDs in 2019 while also seeing time at fullback. As a 2018 junior, he had 33 catches for 386 yards (11.7 avg) with 6 TDs on offense and 21 tackles, with 2.5 sacks, and a forced fumble as a lineman on defense. BRYANT—He made 2019 PrepStar Dream Team, Tacoma News Tribune Western 100, Orange County Register Fab 15 first team, All-CIF Division 1, Southern California News Group All-Region and Riverside Press-Enterprise All-Area Offensive Player of the Year as a 2019 senior wide receiver and cornerback at Centennial High in Corona (Calif.). He had 58 receptions for 1,134 yards (19.6 avg) with 10 TDs, ran for 138 yards on 2 carries (69.0 avg) with 2 TDs, threw a 57-yard TD, had 2 punt returns for 115 yards (57.5 avg) with 2 TDs and had 7 tackles and a deflection in 2019. He was a 2020 All-American Bowl invitee. As a 2018 junior, he made Cal-Hi Sports Junior All-State first team, All-CIF Division 1 and Riverside Press-Enterprise All-Area first team as he had 40 receptions for 905 yards (22.6 avg) with 11 TDs, ran for 74 yards on 4 carries (18.5 avg) with 1 TD, had 2 punt returns for 124 yards (62.0 avg) with 1 TD and had 2 interceptions and a deflection. He had 37 receptions for 587 yards (15.9 avg) with 4 TDs in 2019. As a 2018 junior, he made Cal-Hi Sports Junior All-State third team, All-L.A. City Open Division first team and South Bay Daily Breeze All-South Bay first team while getting 50 receptions for 915 yards (18.3 avg) with 8 TDs. As a 2017 sophomore at Orange (Calif.) Lutheran High, he had 8 catches for 86 yards (10.8 avg) and a TD. Current Trojans Kyle Ford and Ethan Rae also prepped at Orange Lutheran.
LEWIS—He made 2019 MaxPreps All-American first team, PrepStar All-Western Region, Tacoma News Tribune Western 100, Max Preps All-Arizona first team, Arizona Cardinals Arizona Special Teams Player of the Year and National Football Foundation Luis Zendejas Arizona Senior Placekicker of the Year as a senior placekicker and punter at Saguaro High in Scottsdale (Ariz.). In 2019, he hit 76-of-77 PATs and 5-of-5 field goals (with a long of 48 yards), had 82 touchbacks on his 94 kickoffs and averaged 49.9 yards on 16 punts (with 5 inside the 20-yard line and a long of 70 yards). Saguaro won its seventh straight state championship in 2019. As a 2018 junior, he made USA Today All-Arizona honorable mention as he was 86-of-92 on PATs and 3-of-5 on field goals (with a long of 52 yards), had 89 touchbacks on 113 kickoffs and averaged 51.4 yards on 15 punts (with 4 inside the 20-yard line and a long of 65 yards). Saguaro won the 2018 state championship. He sat out most of his 2017 sophomore season after transferring from Brophy Prep in Phoenix (Ariz.). Current Trojan Connor Murphy also attended Brophy Prep. His grandfather, Ben Butler, was set to play football at USC before suffering a career-ending shoulder injury as a 1948 high school senior.
PEPE—He made 2019 PrepStar All-American, Tacoma News Tribune Western 100, All-CIF Division 1 Defensive Player of the Year, Los Angeles Times All-Area first team, Southern California News Group All-Region, Long Beach Press Telegram Dream Team first team and All-Trinity League Most Valuable Defensive Lineman as a senior defensive tackle at St. John Bosco High in Bellflower (Calif.). He had 80 tackles, including 12.5 for losses (with 11 sacks), 5 deflections and a forced fumble in 2019. St. John Bosco won the 2019 CIF Division 1 and California State Open championships. As a junior in 2018, he made Cal-Hi Sports Junior All-State honorable mention while getting 68 tackles, including 5 for losses (with a sack), plus a deflection and a forced fumble. He had 19 tackles and 2 deflections as a 2017 sophomore. Current Trojans Spencer Gilbert, Ralen Goforth, Will Rose, Chris Steele and Jude Wolfe also prepped at St. John Bosco.

COLLIER—He made 2019 PrepStar All-Central Region and All-District 12-5A Division II first team as a senior offensive tackle at Barbers Hill High in Mont Belvieu (Tex.). As a 2018 junior, he allowed just 2 sacks. He also played basketball at Barbers Hill. His sister, Charli, is a sophomore center on the Texas women's basketball team.DEWERK—He made 2019 PrepStar All-Western Region as a senior offensive and defensive lineman at Los Gatos (Calif.) High. He had 17 tackles and 2 deflections in 2019. Los Gatos won the 2019 CIF Central Coast Division II championship. As a 2018 junior, he had 4 tackles. He had 22 tackles, with 1 for a loss, and blocked a field goal as a 2017 sophomore.
FORD—He made 2019 PrepStar All-Central Region, AP All-State 6A second team and All-District 7-6A first team as a senior offensive tackle at Cedar Hill (Tex.) High. As a 2018 junior, he made All-District 7-6A first team and Dallas Morning News All-Area second team.
MILEK—He made 2019 PrepStar All-Western Region, Max Preps All-Arizona second team and 12News All-Area first team as a senior offensive tackle at Brophy Prep in Phoenix (Ariz.). He was a 3-year starter. Current Trojans Connor Murphy and Parker Lewis also attended Brophy Prep. He also was on the track team (shot put, discus throw) at Brophy Prep.
MONHEIM—He made 2019 PrepStar All-American, Tacoma News Tribune Western 100, Los Angeles Daily News All-Area first team and All-Camino League Co-Offensive Lineman of the Year as a senior offensive tackle and guard at Moorpark (Calif.) High. He was a 3-year starter at Moorpark. Current Trojan Drake London also prepped at Moorpark.
SEKONA—He made 2019 PrepStar All-American, Tacoma News Tribune Western 100 and All-Marin County Athletic League Player of the Year and Lineman of the Year as a senior offensive and defensive lineman at Marin Catholic High in Kentfield (Calif.). He was a 3-year starter with 150-plus tackles and 21 sacks. He had 71 tackles with 9 sacks in 2019. As a 2018 junior, he made USA Today All-California second team, Cal-Hi Sports All-State Medium Schools first team, Max Preps All-State Medium Schools second team, Cal-Hi Sports Junior All-State first team, San Francisco Chronicle All-Metro and All-Marin County Athletic League Lineman of the Year. He made Cal-Hi Sports Sophomore All-State first team as a 2017 sophomore. He also was on Marin Catholic's track team, with bests of 48-8 in the shot put and 108-3 in the discus. He spent his 2016 freshman season at Tamalpais High in Mill Valley (Calif.). His uncle is Haloti Ngata, who played defensive line at Oregon (2003-05, earning All-American honors in 2005) and in the NFL with the Baltimore Ravens (2006-14, including on the XLVII Super Bowl champs), Detroit Lions (2015-17) and Philadelphia Eagles (2018).
STEPHEN—He made 2019 PrepStar All-Western Region and Tacoma News Tribune Northwest Nuggets Best of the Rest as a senior offensive lineman at Camas (Wash.) High, despite sitting out most of the season with a back injury. He also was on the track team at Camas. He spent his 2017 sophomore season at West Anchorage (Ak.) High.
TUIPULOTU—He made 2019 Tacoma News Tribune Western 100, All-CIF Division 3 and South Bay Daily Breeze All-South Bay first team as a senior defensive end at Lawndale (Calif.) High. As a 2018 junior, he made All-CIF Division 5 and South Bay Daily Breeze All-South Bay first team as he had 95 tackles, including 24 for losses (with 9 sacks), plus 2 deflections and a forced fumble on defense and had a 20-yard reception on offense. He had 49 tackles, including 12 for losses (with a sack), plus 2 forced fumbles and a fumble recovery as a 2017 sophomore. His brother, Marlon, is a junior defensive lineman at USC.
