Slovis also was selected as the Rose Bowl Game Pac-12 Player of the Week, a Manning Award Star of the Week and the CollegeSportsMadness.com Pac-12 Offensive Player of the Week.
Additionally, sophomore wide receiver Amon-Ra St. Brown was named to the Paul Hornung Award Honor Roll.
Slovis was 29-of-39 for a career-best 432 yards with 4 TDs (8, 8, 58, 95 yards). All of his touchdown throws came in the first quarter when he completed 15-of-17 passes, including his first 11, for 297 yards. The 95-yarder was the longest at USC since a school record 97-yarder at Illinois in 1996.
Christon got his first career start and responded with 144 all-purpose yards, getting 62 yards on 20 carries and 82 yards on 4 catches with 2 TDs (8 and 58 yards, dragging defenders the last 20 yards on his second TD).
St. Brown had 8 catches for 173 yards (with the 95-yard TD), 3 rushes for 8 yards (while lining up in the backfield) and 3 punt returns for 26 yards, totalling 207 all-purpose yards.
