Kedon Slovis Named Pac-12 Freshman Player Of The Week

USC quarterback Kedon Slovis was named Pac-12 Freshman Player of the Week for his performance in the Trojans' 35-31 win at Colorado last Saturday.
Slovis helped USC overcome a 10-point fourth quarter deficit by throwing a pair of long touchdowns to wide receiver Michael Pittman Jr. in the final period. The game-winner of 37 yards came with 2:15 to go to cap a 12-play, 89-yard drive.
Overall in the game, Slovis was 30-of-44 for 406 yards and 4 TDs (all career highs) with an interception, including going 9-of-13 for 148 yards with the 2 TDs in the fourth quarter.
It is the second Pac-12 Freshman of the Week honor in 2019 for Slovis, who also won it after the Stanford game when he made his first career start.
