Trojans stepped up in the clutch during the first week of the NFL Playoffs.

Sunday's Ravens-Chargers game came down to the wire, and rookie LA linebacker Uchenna Nwosu stepped up to make the game-winning play. With 45 seconds remaining in the game, the Ravens had the ball on their own 47 yard-line, down 6 points. Baltimore QB Lamar Jackson dropped back to pass, but Nwosu came rushing toward him and smacked the ball out of his hands. Nwosu's teammate recovered the fumble to seal the victory for the Chargers. Nwosu also had a knack for making clutch plays during his time at USC, including stopping Stanford on 4th-and-goal during the 2017 Pac-12 Championship Game. Nwosu finished Sunday's playoff game with 2 tackles, 1 sack, 1 forced fumble and 1 special teams tackle and helped the Chargers advance to face the New England Patriots in the next round.
