In the first game of his NFL career, Jets QB Sam Darnold got off to a rocky start. He threw a pick-six on his first pass attempt, but impressed the sports world with how well he rebounded from the mistake. The youngest QB to start a team's season opener in the Super Bowl era finished 16-for-21 for 198 pass yards and 2 touchdowns, and led the Jets to a 48-17 win. Darnold became the first QB to win by 31 points in his first career start since Tom Brady in 2001 (against the Peyton Manning-led Colts).
