The NFL preseason kicked off this weekend, and right off the bat, a number of Trojans made their mark.
The Best
USC's rookies were especially impressive in their debuts. New York Jets QB Sam Darnold went 13-of-18 for 96 pass yards and a TD. Tampa Bay Buccaneers RB Ronald Jones II also scored his first NFL TD. On the other side of the ball, Seattle Seahawks rookie DL Rasheem Green notched 7 tackles, 1.5 sacks and 3 QB hits in an impressive debut, while Los Angeles Chargers rookie LB Uchenna Nwosu posted 2 tackles and 1 sack.
