Terry Earns Silver Medal, Sets Record At U20 Championships In Finland

USC rising sophomore Twanisha "TeeTee" Terry set a record in the 100m semifinals and earned a silver medal in the event final at the U20 World Championships in Tampere, Finland today (July 12).Â
Terry took second in the 100m final with a time of 11.19 (+0.0) which was .03 seconds behind the winning time posted by Briana Williams of Jamaica. Terry set the U20 Championships' 100m dash record with a time of 11.03 (+0.4) in the semifinals earlier in the day. That time was just off her USC school-record time of 10.99 set at the Mt. SAC Relays on April 21.
