USC alum and current Minnesota Vikings DE Everson Griffen came in at No. 19 on NFL Network's Top 100 Players of 2018 program.
The poll is voted on by NFL players projecting who they think will have the best performances in the upcoming season.
Griffen, who played at USC from 2007-09, was an integral part of the Vikings' squad that advanced to the NFC Championship during the 2017 season. The team captain posted 45 tackles, 25 QB hits, 3 forced fumbles and 13 sacks, which was tied for fourth in the NFL. The 13 sacks also marked a career-high for Griffen, who's heading into his ninth year in the league.
The impressive season helped Griffen take a huge jump up the rankings after appearing in the Top 100 Players of 2017 at No. 92. Griffen joins Jurrell Casey (No. 66) and Tyron Smith (No. 39) on the NFL Top 100.
