DeMar DeRozan Makes All-NBA Second Team

USC alum and current Toronto Raptors guard DeMar DeRozan was named to the 2018 All-NBA Second Team today.
It's the highest NBA honor a Trojan has earned since point guard Gus Williams made first team in 1982.
DeRozan earns All-NBA distinction for the second year in a row, after garnering a spot on the third team last season. He's only the second player in Raptors history to earn multiple All-NBA honors (Vince Carter did so in 2001 and 2002).
This season, DeRozan averaged a team-best 23.0 points, a career-high 5.2 assists and 3.9 rebounds per game while leading the Raptors to their third straight Eastern Conference Semifinals. He also earned his fourth straight NBA All-Star selection (second straight starting nod). He broke the franchise record for most 30-point games this season, and set the franchise all-time high in single-game scoring, with 52 points against the Milwaukee Bucks.
While at USC, DeRozan averaged 13.9 points, 5.7 rebounds and 1.5 assists per game. He was named the Most Outstanding Player of the 2009 Pac-10 Tournament and helped lead the Trojans to the second round of March Madness.
DeRozan will look to accomplish even more heading into his ninth NBA season this year.
