Freshman Gabi Ruffels and sophomore Allisen Corpuz were both under par today with 1-under 71s while freshman Amelia Garvey was even as No. 4 USC moved into second place after the second round of the 2018 Pac-12 Women's Golf Championships on Monday (April 23) at the Broadmoor C.C. in Seattle, Wash.

The Trojans, winners of three in a row entering the postseason, sit at 3-over 579 (291-288), six back of first-place UCLA and one ahead of third-place Arizona.

The four-freshmen, one-sophomore lineup continues to churn right along, keeping the Trojans in the hunt for the program's sixth win this year and seventh conference crown.

Corpuz is tied for third at 4-under 140 (69-71), two back of the lead, after her third straight round under par that included five birdies, including one on 18.

Ruffels got hot on her back nine today to move into a tie for 18th at 3-over 147 (76-71). She posted three back 9 birdies and an eagle on the par 5 13th hole.

Freshman Jennifer Chang is tied for 20th at 4-over 148 (72-76), closing strong with an even back 9. She is tied with freshman Alyaa Abdulghany (74-74) who was also even on the back 9 thanks to her own eagle on 13.
