Trojans Tackle Spring Break

USC football returned to the practice field this week after taking last week off for spring break. A number of Trojans made the most of their break, whether they went home to visit family or traveled the globe.
Hawai'i was a popular destination for the Trojans this spring break. Senior OL Toa Lobendahn spent time there, as did Hawai'i native Jordan Iosefa.
Rising sophomore Andrew Vorhees also visited Hawai'i for a very special occasion: his honeymoon. Vorhees married his high school sweetheart, Samantha, on March 9 in a ceremony in downtown Los Angeles. Rising redshirt freshman QB Jack Sears was a groomsman in the wedding.
A few Trojans traveled south to practice their Spanish over the break. Rising sophomore TE Eric Krommenhoek and rising sophomore OL Austin Jackson went to Mexico together, while rising junior WR Michael Pittman Jr. visited Costa Rica.
Rising junior WR Josh Imatorbhebhe (pictured, right) traveled to London and Paris, where his mother was staying for a business trip.
"I loved going to the British Museum in London," he said. "It was amazing because at one point in time, the British ruled the world. So all the artifacts that they have from the different countries that they conquered, it's crazy. They have artifacts from Greece, from Africa, they have a ton of artifacts from Egypt, like mummies — super cool. I'm really into mythology, so all that stuff from Greece was really interesting."
Imatorbhebhe also enjoyed seeing The Louvre and The Eiffel Tower in Paris.
Rising senior OL Jordan Austin traveled perhaps further than any of his teammates over spring break. He checked an item off his bucket list after heading to Tokyo.
"Ever since I was younger, I've always had an interest in [Japanese] culture, just from history classes," Austin said. "I wanted to experience something new and something that was completely different from the states. My undergrad was in international relations, and I never really had the opportunity to go abroad and get different perspectives until now."
Austin, who traveled there solo, said that eating at an owl cafe (pictured below) was the highlight of his trip.
He also enjoyed seeing Mount Fuji and visiting Disneyland Tokyo.
The well-traveled Trojans are back in action for the next three weeks until spring football ends. All spring practices are free and open to the public!
