Johnny Nansen named Pac-12 Recruiter of the Year

USC assistant head coach and linebackers coach Johnny Nansen was named the Pac-12 Recruiter of the Year by 247Sports, the organization announced today.
USC offensive coordinator and wide receivers coach Tee Martin came in second on the list.
Martin and Nansen, who is heading into his fifth season at USC, helped the Trojans land the No. 4 class in the nation this year. For the fifth year in a row, USC posted the top class in the Pac-12.
USC reeled in 18 new players this year, with an average star rating of 4.25 — the second-highest national average rating ever, behind USC's 2013 class.
The 2018 class comprises seven five-star prospects and 11 four-stars, and includes the top players from five different states: LB Kana'i Mauga (Hawai'i), DB Talanoa Hufanga (Oregon), QB JT Daniels (California), LB Palaie Gaoteote IV (Nevada) and DL Trevor Trout (Missouri).
