USC Impresses In Final Day Of Razorback Invitational

Dior Hall won the women's 60m hurdles, Ricky Morgan won the men's 400m race and the women's 4x400m team won the Invitational relay race during the final day of action at the Razorback Invitational in Fayetteville, Ark. today (Jan. 27). USC also had four athletes finish in second place in events today.
- USC went 1-2 in the women's 60m hurdles final as Hall won with a time of 7.98 and Anna Cockrell took second with a time of 8.06. Hall advanced to the final as the top qualifier in the prelims with a time of 8.02, while Cockrell was second at 8.15. Mecca McGlaston finished ninth with a PR of 8.28, Chanel Brissett was 10th with a time of 8.29 and Shante Robinson was 18th with a time of 8.74.
- Morgan won the men's 400m dash with a time of 46.80. Cameron Samuel places 14th with a season-best time of 48.59, which moved him to fifth on USC's all-time indoor list in the event.
- USC's women's 4x400m relay team of Kendall Ellis, Cockrell, Deanna Hill and Kyra Constantine won the Invitational race with a time of 3:31.25 to move to fifth on the Trojans' all-time list. USC defeated the second-place team Texas A&M by 1.36 seconds.
- Ellis finished second in the women's 400m Invitational with a time of 51.53. Constantine took fourth in the race with a PR of 52.77. That time bettered her seventh-place standing on USC's all-time list.
- T.J. Brock took second in the men's 60m dash final with a PR of 6.64, which bettered his fourth-place standing on USC's all-time list. Brock had a time of 6.73 in the prelims, which was third among the finals qualifiers. Alexander Barnum placed ninth by running 6.81 in the prelims and Nick Moore had a season-best time of 6.96 in the prelims to finish 15th.
- Twanisha "TeeTee" Terry placed third in the women's 60m dash final with a PR of 7.27. Her time ties her for sixth on USC's all-time list in the event. Angie Annelus placed fourth with a PR of 7.30 to move into a 10th-place tie on USC's all-time list. Hill finished fifth with a time of 7.32. They advanced to the finals with times of 7.31, 7.36 and 7.34 respectively. Ky Westbrook finished ninth in the prelims with a time of 7.38 (7.374), Zaria Francis 11th at 7.38 (7.378) and Madisen Richards 18 at 7.58.
- Sloan took second in the men's triple jump with a best leap of 53-7.00/16.33m. He finished six inches behind KeAndre Bates of Florida, the 2017 NCAA outdoor triple jump champion. Dominic Smallwood finished 10th with a best jump of 48-0.75.14.65m.
- Marquis Morris placed fifth in the men's 60m hurdles final. He advanced out of the prelims in sixth with a time of 8.03.
- Nick Ponzio finished fourth in the men's shot put final with a mark of 61-3.50/18.68. He posted that throw in his first attempt of the day.
- Breana Jemison placed third in the women's shot put final with a mark of 51-7.25/15.73m. She also had her best shot put in the first round.
- Robert Ford took fourth in the men's 800m Invitational race with a time of 1:50.59.
- Alex Rohani had a time of 1:54.75 to place 18th in the men's 800m race. That time moved him to sixth on USC's all-time list.
- Mikaela Smith ran 2:15.56 to place 19th in the women's 800m race. She also ran 58.50 in the women's 400m race to finish 18th.
