Trojan Wish: Neriah Asuega

This weekend, USC's Trojan Outreach Program joined up with USC women's basketball to give a local USC fan a special experience.
Neriah Asuega, who turned eight today (Jan. 23), has dealt with brain cancer throughout her young life. But she hasn't let it stop her from attending USC sporting events, going to church, reading, drawing, surfing and playing basketball and soccer.
On Friday, Trojan Outreach treated Neriah and her family to a VIP experience at the women's basketball game. They watched the game from courtside seats and received a goodie bag including a t-shirt, a USC women's basketball poster and more. Neriah was also featured on the Pac-12 Network broadcast of the game, alongside analysts Christian Miles and Tammy Blackburn, who is currently fighting breast cancer.
Neriah enjoyed her evening and said she'd like to play for the USC women's basketball team one day.
