Ellis, Felix, Iuel & Harris Kickoff USC's Action At The IAAF World Championships

Kendall Ellis, Amalie Iuel and Allyson Felix ran in the women's 400m heats and Aleec Harris competed in the men's 110m hurdles during the Trojans' first day of action at the 2017 IAAF World Championships in London, England on Aug. 6.
- Felix automatically advanced to the women's 400m semifinals on Aug. 7 by winning her first-round heat with a time of 52.44. Iuel placed sixth in her heat with a time of 52.55 to finish 33rd overall and Ellis took sixth in her heat with a time of 52.18 to finish 24th overall.
- Harris ran 13.50 (-1.2) to take fourth in his 110m hurdles first round heat to advance to the semifinals later in the day. In the semis, he had a time of 13.40 (+0.2) to take sixth in his heat and finish 13th overall.
