August 31, 2017 | Football, USC Ripsit Blog, Features
On Thursday, the Trojans hit the practice field for the final time before they take on Western Michigan on Saturday, Sept. 2.
- CB Isaiah Langley (tight quad) was able to practice. OL Viane Talamaivao (foot) and TE Daniel Imatorbhebhe (hip flexor) practiced and are expected to contribute on Saturday, per USC head coach Clay Helton.
- Helton announced that in Game 1, kickoff duties will be handled by PK Michael Brown, while PK Chase McGrath will take care of field goals and extra points. Walk-on punter Reid Budrovich wrestled the starting job away from Chris Tilbey after an impressive camp.
- CB Iman Marshall has been very impressive the last two camps and is "really glued in on trying to be a master of his craft at the corner position," Helton said.
- Helton spoke to the team at the end of practice today and told them, "I have nothing left to say, it's time to go play."
