The awards keep rolling in for USC men's tennis freshman Brandon Holt, who was named the Pac-12 Freshman/Newcomer of the Year today, headlining USC's four All-Pac-12 selections.

Holt earned Pac-12 First Team honors after posting a 35-9 overall record (18-5 in dual match play) in his first season in Cardinal and Gold. The Torrance, CA native also went 25-8 overall in doubles with fellow freshman Riley Smith.
Holt is the second Trojan in a row to earn the award after teammate Logan Smith -- who made the All-Pac-12 Second Team this year -- took it home in 2016. The only other USC player to win it was Yannick Hanfmann in 2012.
Holt also garnered ITA All-American status, ITA Southwest Region Rookie of the Year and ITA Southwest Region Player to Watch for his efforts this year, including clinching the Pac-12 title for USC.
In addition to Holt and Smith, two more Trojans made the All-Pac-12 team this season. Nick Crystal graduates from USC as a three-time Pac-12 honoree after making the cut for Second Team this season. Rising junior Jack Jaede, meanwhile, earns his first Pac-12 honor, as an Honorable Mention.
USC's four honorees are tied for the most of any school in the conference this season.
