USC beach volleyball, fresh off its third consecutive national championship, had four student-athletes named AVCA Beach Volleyball All-Americans: Sara Hughes, Kelly Claes, Allie Wheeler and Sophie Bukovec.Click here for the complete release.
In a young sport, Hughes will go down as one of the pioneers, becoming the first-ever four-time beach volleyball All-American. Claes has the trophy case to match her partner, earning her third All-American honor.
Bukovec picked up her second nod, while Wheeler is new to the elite group. The Women of Troy have now had seven different All-Americans in six years of existence.
