The fourth-ranked Trojans are in the tournament for the 11th year in a row, and are looking for their sixth title in the last nine seasons.
The tournament kicks off at Marks Stadium tomorrow at 10 a.m. with a battle between No. 30 Wisconsin (17-7) and No. 47 San Diego (17-10).
The Trojans (25-5) get going after that, with a 1 p.m. match against Denver (13-12).
Should USC defeat Denver, it would advance to a second round matchup on Saturday at 1 p.m. vs. the winner of Wisconsin and San Diego. Two wins this weekend would send the Trojans to Athens for the NCAA Round of 16 beginning on May 18.
A young crop of talent has lifted the Trojans to their 10th 20-win season and third Pac-12 title. Freshman Brandon Holt is ranked No. 19 in the nation and boasts a 16-5 dual match record playing primarily on Court 1. Down on Court 6, fellow freshman Riley Smith has been nearly unbeatable, with an 18-2 dual match record this season. Holt and Smith make up the 14th-ranked doubles team in the nation, going 17-5 together on Court 1 this year.
Sophomore Jack Jaede (pictured) has also racked up an impressive 19-3 record this season.
USC's seniors, Rob Bellamy and Nick Crystal, won an NCAA title their freshman year and are itching to make it back on top. The Trojans' quest begins tomorrow at 1 p.m.
