Both USC's men's and women's track and field teams finished second at this weekend's Pac-12 Championships in Eugene, OR.

The Men of Troy finished with 115.50 points -- 59.5 points fewer than first-place Oregon. USC's women's team finished with 135 points -- 54 points fewer than first-place Oregon.
Freshman Michael Norman was key in the men's team's success. He came from behind to win the men's 400m with a PR of 45.15 beating out the two-time defending Pac-12 champ in the event and becoming the first Trojan 400m champion since Bryshon Nellum in 2013.

Norman also anchored USC's men's 4x400 relay team, which won the Pac-12 title with a 3:07.67. Ricky Morgan Jr., Marquis Morris, Alex Rohani and Morgan earned USC's first win in the event since 2011.
USC's Eric Sloan and Dominic Smallwood went 1-2 in the men's triple jump to help give the Trojans a boost.
Thanks to an impressive performance on the women's side, USC swept the 4x400m relay. Cameron Pettigrew, Amalie Iuel, Anna Cockrell and Kendall Ellis set a meet record with a 3:29.52 to win the event for the fifth year in a row.
Ellis also pulled off a meet record, school record and a PR in the women's 400m, winning the event with a 50.66.
Up next for the Trojans are the NCAA West Preliminary Rounds from May 25-27 in Austin, TX. The NCAA Championships begin on June 7 in Eugene.
