On April 21, USC Athletic Director Lynn Swann announced the hiring of Mark Trakh as the head coach of USC women's basketball.
Sixty-one-year-old Trakh, who was born in Amman, Jordan, returns to Troy after previously coaching the women's team from 2005-09. During that span, he went 90-64, made two NCAA Tournament appearances and produced four Top 10 recruiting classes.
Most recently, Trakh spent six years at New Mexico State, leading the Aggies to three straight conference titles.
In total, he has 22 years of head coaching experience.
