On Tuesday, USC's Trojan Outreach program partnered with Goodwill Southern California to host a kickoff event for its Spring Cleaning For Good donation drive.
Just under 500 participants dropped off gently used clothing and household items in USC's McCarthy Quad, totaling around 2,000 pounds of donations.
Those who donated received a pamphlet about Goodwill's efforts to end homelessness in addition to a free lunch from Chick-fil-A and a free drink from Coca Cola.
Goodwill bins will remain on and around USC's campus until May 11.
