USC senior captain Michaela Michael was named the MPSF Player of the Year, headlining five women's lacrosse players to earn First Team All-MPSF honors this season.

Michael, who leads the conference in points, goals and draw controls, earns the award for the second time in her career, after winning it as a sophomore in 2015. Her selection marks a three-peat for the Trojans, as USC alum Courtney Tarleton earned the Player of the Year award in 2016. With her career winding down, Michael ranks second in MPSF history in career goals and third in career points.
Goalkeeper Gussie Johns, midfielder Gabby McMahon and defender Lydia Sutton join Michael on the All-MPSF first team, as does freshman midfielder Kerrigan Miller, who was named the MPSF Rookie of the Year.
Miller ranks second among MPSF freshmen in goals and total points this season, and has helped No. 7 USC stake out a 14-3 record, an undefeated MPSF slate and the top seed in the upcoming conference tournament.
