Junior Robert Ford (pictured) ran a 1:48.90 in the men's 800m to claim first place and set a new season-best.
Three Trojans took second place in their events over the weekend. Brittany Mann opened up the competition with a season-best thrown of 163-1 (49.70m) to place second in the women's discus throw. Later, Chloe Berry finished second in the women's 1500m race, with a PR of 4:33.65.
On the men's side, Alexander Barnum placed second in the men's 100m with a PR of 10.63 (-1.7). Barnum finished just ahead of teammate Christian Sourapas, who posted a 10.71 (-1.7).
Hurdler Mecca McGlaston also achieved a Top 5 finish, using a 13.88 (+0.1) in the women's 100m hurdles to finish fifth.
USC track and field looks to build upon these performances leading up to this weekend's USC-UCLA Dual Meet. The meet takes place this Saturday and Sunday at USC's Loker Stadium.
