USC locked up the top seed in the upcoming conference tournament with a 15-12 win over Stanford on Friday. Seniors Michaela Michael and Kylie Drexel (pictured) continued their dominance with five goals each in the hard-fought victory.
With the top seed in the tournament already secured, the Trojans still had much to fight for in their matchup with UC Davis yesterday. With a win, they would close out the regular season on an eight-game win streak and finish undefeated in conference play. Michael and Drexel led the way once again with four goals each, and Drew Jackson added four to help the Trojans score an 18-9 victory.

Heading into the MPSF Tournament, the Trojans are ranked No. 6 in the nation and stand at 14-3 (8-0 MPSF). As the No. 1 seed, USC will host the tournament, which bodes well for the Women of Troy. The team has won 23 consecutive home matches and 18 consecutive games against MPSF opponents.
USC leads the MPSF in goals per game, assists per game, ground balls per game, points per game, shot percentage, goals against average and save percent. Michael has asserted herself as the most dangerous attacker in the conference, and junior Gussie Johns has made a case for the top goalie in the league.
