With three wins this weekend, USC's top-ranked beach volleyball team extended its winning streak to an unprecedented 50 consecutive matches.
USC swept all three of its opponents (San Francisco, Saint Mary's and San Jose State) -- not dropping a single set all weekend -- to accomplish the feat.
The back-to-back national champions are now 20-0 on the current season and have not lost since March 11, 2016, when they fell to Florida State.
In the groundbreaking win against San Jose State on Sunday, USC's top duo of Kelly Claes and Sara Hughes also positioned themselves on the brink of an incredible accomplishment. The seniors won their 99th consecutive match together, a streak that extends back for two years (their last loss came on April 2, 2015).
Claes and Hughes get their shot at No. 100 on Friday when USC hosts Washington at 4 p.m., followed by a battle with ASU at 6 p.m. Both matches will take place at USC's Merle Norman Stadium.
