This weekend, USC's top-ranked beach volleyball team beat Cal Poly and UCLA to finish the regular season with a perfect 30-0 record.
Prior to Saturday's matches, the Trojans honored their five seniors, who have helped lead the team to back-to-back national titles and a 60-match win streak. Throughout the two matches, USC's seniors -- Sophie Bukovec, Kelly Claes, Sara Hughes, Nicolette Martin and Allie Wheeler -- didn't drop a single set.
After the ceremony, the Trojans got right to work, beating Cal Poly, 5-0.
USC entered its regular-season finale against No. 2 UCLA with an undefeated season and a 59-match win streak on the line. The Bruins drew first blood with a win on Court 4, but the Trojans bounced back, winning on the other four courts to earn a 4-1 victory.
With the win, USC finished the regular season undefeated and extended its winning streak to 60 consecutive duals. The Trojans also snapped UCLA's 24-match win streak, which had stretched back to March 4, when USC beat the Bruins in Malibu.
With a 30-0 (8-0 Pac-12) record, the No. 1 Women of Troy earned the top seed in this week's Pac-12 Tournament, which take place this Thursday and Friday in Tucson, AZ.
