On Friday, the No. 9 Trojans traveled north to Eugene, OR to face the Ducks. Michael notched six goals in the win for the sixth time in her career, lifting USC to a dominant 17-7 win.
The two-time IWLCA All-American managed to top that stat line in the very next game. At San Diego State on Saturday, she tied a career high with seven goals, including six in the first half. USC beat the Aztecs, 15-3.
Michael, who has won MPSF Offensive Player of the Week three times in a row, has scored at least six goals in each of USC's last five games.
The senior now has 53 goals on the season -- 13 more than the next highest scorer in the MPSF. With three regular season games to go before the MPSF Tournament and potential NCAA Championships, Michael has the potential to rewrite USC's record books yet again.
She already holds USC's top two single-season scoring marks (with 68 goals in 2016 and 63 in 2015) and set records in points, shots, shots on goal and free-position goals last year.
Michael and the Trojans return home for their last regular season game of 2016 this Friday night. No. 9 USC takes on No. 5 Colorado in a showdown at the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum.
