The No. 6 Trojans dialed up a 172-128 win on Senior Day thanks in part to two wins by senior Anika Apostalon. The co-captain set pool records in the 50y free and the 100y free in her final meet at Uytengsu Aquatic Center. She also helped Troy's 200y medley team set a new pool record.
Freshman Becca Mann swept the 500y and the 1650y free, while sophomore Riley Scott also notched two wins -- the 100y and 200y free, in addition to playing a part in USC's 200y medley relay team.
USC has now tied the longest streak of wins over UCLA in program history, which was previously set from 1994-2003. The Trojans also earned 10 points toward the Crosstown Cup, in which USC currently trails, 35-25.
With the win, the Trojans sealed a 7-2 regular season record and turned the page to the Pac-12 Tournament in Federal Way, WA from Feb. 22-25.
