After four days of intense competition, USC women's swimming and diving team placed third at the Pac-12 Championships.
The No. 5 Trojans posted 1250.5 points, finishing behind only No. 1 Stanford and No. 2 Cal.
Two individual wins fueled the Trojans' success. Freshman Louise Hansson brought home the title in the 100y butterfly with a time of 50.39, while sophomore Riley Scott won the 200y breaststroke with a 2:06.20. It was the first Pac-12 title for both Trojans.
Hansson's 100y fly time was the second-fastest in the nation this year, and helped her become USC's fourth winner in the event. Over the course of the Pac-12 Championships, the Swede set three individual USC records and helped her team achieve three more relay records.
Scott, meanwhile, set a PR in her comeback victory to become USC's seventh winner in the event.
USC earned another title in men's diving, where Dashiell Enos won his second straight 3-meter crown.
The Trojan men's swim team now has its chance to shine at the Pac-12 Championships starting Wednesday, with NCAAs on the horizon just after that.
