On Saturday, USC water polo coach Jovan Vavic won his 500th game with the men's program as the No. 2 Trojans beat No. 5 Stanford, 8-4, in Palo Alto.

Vavic's career record is now 500-82 (.859) with the men's team at USC and 1,016-224 (.819) at USC overall, having also coached the women's team since arriving at Troy in 1995.
The only head coach in history with more wins at USC than Vavic is the legendary Rod Dedeaux, who racked up 1,332 victories in 45 seasons as USC baseball coach.
This year, Vavic has led the Men of Troy to a 6-0 start as they look to get back on top after finishing second in the NCAA championship two years in a row. No one doubts Vavic can get the team there again, as he's won 14 team titles in his tenure at USC, including the women's championship just last year.
