The Trojans, ranked No. 2 in the nation, topped No. 8 UC Irvine, 14-3, and No. 17 Cal Baptist, 16-3. In both games, USC jumped out to an insurmountable halftime lead --- 9-1 in the first game, and 9-0 in the second.
Junior driver Matteo Morelli led the way with five goals over the weekend, while junior McQuin Baron, a 2015 All-American second team selection, posted 10 saves in the cage.
The Trojans are now focused on their home opener against No. 6 Santa Barbara on Saturday at 9 a.m.
