USC will face a big test early on, as it faces defending national champion Ohio State in the AVCA Showcase -- Big Ten/Pac-12 Challenge on Jan. 6, 2017.
The Trojans will also face the national runners-up, BYU, as well as NCAA semifinalists Long Beach State and UCLA.
Exhibition play runs from October to November, and USC kicks off the season with a tilt at Concordia (Calif.) on Jan. 3.
