Game: Murphy is a classic outside pass rusher with a long body and the frame to gain weight and strength as he grows up at USC. He has opened eyes since arriving this summer and worked his way up to the backup rush end spot on the depth chart behind Porter Gustin.
Prep Career: Despite battling a groin injury that limited him to just seven games his senior year, Murphy earned Prep Star All-American honors thanks to his 30 tackles, including 5 TFL, plus 4 deflections and 2 fumble recoveries.

Fun Fact: Murphy comes from an athletic family --- his brother, Trent, was an All-American linebacker at Stanford and now plays for the Washington Redskins. His sister, Kayli, played basketball at Arizona State.
