USC added another Trojan to its list of active NFL players in Week 3 when the Bears promoted QB Matt Barkley to their active roster. Here are the highlights from USC's 37 active NFL players this week:

Minnesota Vikings DE Everson Griffen was key in shutting down NFL MVP Cam Newton and the Panthers on Sunday. Griffen sacked Newton three times (which is tied for the most sacks in a single game this season), and had four tackles and four QB hits in total. The Vikings beat last year's NFC Champs, 22-10, in Charlotte.
