USC fans know Kostsas Genidounias best as the man who delivered a national championship-winning goal over UCLA. USC men's water polo supporters know him as the program's all-time leading scorer.
The world will now know Genidounias as an Olympian after he helped Greece qualify for Rio 2016 by finishing third at the 2015 FINA World Championships.
Genidounias amassed an historic resume over his four years at USC. The Athens native, who once had to recruit Jovan Vavic into scouting him, won the 2014-15 Cutino Award, three national championships and became a four-time All-American.
Before USC, he was the MVP of the 2010 European Youth Championships. And now, he plays professionally for Greek powerhouse Olympiacos.
