USC women's soccer recently opened its 2016 season, with hopes of improving upon last year's Sweet 16 berth.
The Trojans have won two exhibition games (def. Air Force, 4-0, and Beijing Normal, 5-1), but dropped their official season opener in overtime at Santa Clara, 3-2.
