USC women's soccer will enter the 2016 season ranked No. 11 in the NSCAA preseason poll.
The Women of Troy finished their 2015 campaign ranked No. 11 by the NSCAA thanks to a 14-6-2 record and a trip to the NCAA Sweet 16, where they fell to then-No. 1 Virginia.
The Trojans, in their third year under head coach Keidane McAlpine, are returning their top scorer in senior Morgan Andrews, as well as senior defender Kayla Mills, who won Pac-12 Defensive Player of the Year in 2015.
Andrews, Mills and the rest of the squad will face seven other teams ranked in the NSCAA preseason poll in 2016: Santa Clara (21), Auburn (12), Loyola Marymount (25), North Carolina (9), Arizona (20), Stanford (5) and California (18).
