USC men's basketball released its non-conference schedule plus its Pac-12 opponents today. Tip times and exact dates for conference games are still to come, but it gives you an idea about the test ahead for the Trojans who are trying to make it back-to-back NCAA Tournament appearances for the first time since 2008 and 2009.

The Trojans have spiced up their non-conference slate with several match-ups against top major conference teams. USC will play two true road games before Pac-12 play, including a daunting trip to SEC power Texas A&M on November 18.

Sandwiched between Thanksgiving and the rivalry football game between USC and Notre Dame at the Coliseum, men's basketball will host SMU, which went 25-5 last year after opening 18-0. The Trojans will also play a showcase game against BYU at STAPLES Center on December 3 as part of the inaugural Hoophall LA doubleheader.
USC opens its season at the Galen Center on November 11 against Montana. The Trojans will compete in the Las Vegas Classic on December 22 and 23 at the Orleans Arena.
While exact dates for the conference schedule will not be set until early September, Andy Enfield knows that USC will not travel to Stanford and Cal this year, and will not host Colorado and Utah. Otherwise, the Trojans play a home-and-home with every other Pac-12 school, culminating in the conference tournament from March 8-11 at the new T-Mobile Arena.
