Zsofia Erdelyi qualified for her second Olympic Games in the marathon after finishing 92nd in the same event at London 2012.
Erdelyi is USC's most accomplished distance runner in recent years, leading the cross country program from 2007-10. During that time, she won five individual titles.
She also competed for USC track & field, setting school records in the 3,000m steeplechase, 5,000m and 10,000m. In 2011, she won the Las Vegas Marathon in her first competitive attempt at the grueling 26-mile distance.
