Veteran Olympian Amanda Weir has qualified for her third Games as she will compete for a medal on the Americans' 4x100m free relay team.
Weir, 30, is a three-time Olympic medalist, capturing a pair of silvers in 2004 and a bronze in 2012. She made her Olympic debut as an 18-year-old.
While she only swam for USC briefly in 2006, Weir set pool records that season in the 50y, 100y and 200y free. She transferred to Troy from Georgia, where she helped the Bulldogs win a national championship.
