Higgins contributed six points on 2-for-5 shooting, three rebounds, and a game-high five steals in 19 minutes on the floor. This was her first-ever call-up to a USA Basketball event, making the team as one of 12 players selected for the USA roster out of 30 participants at the trials.
Coming into USC, Higgins is ranked as the No. 15 freshman in the country by HoopGurlz. The Chaminade product is considered a five-star recruit and one of two Top 100 players in this class for the Women of Troy (Ja'Tavia Tapley).
