"Overall we did not score goals with regularity last year and one of the goals of our staff was to improve that," explained head coach Keidane McAlpine. "We are excited that Alex and Leah will give us depth in that area."
A double major in sociology and psychology in just three years, Anthony showcased her proficiencies both on and off the pitch at Maryland. In her redshirt sophomore season, the forward started all 19 of the Terrapins' games, finishing tied for second in the Big 10 with 10 goals scored. She broke the school single-season record and led the Big 10 with 91 shots.
Pruitt earned 2015 Mountain West Freshman of the Year honors after leading the Aztecs with 10 goals, nine assists, five game-winners and 62 shots in her rookie season. The All-Mountain West First Teamer started in all 18 of San Diego State's game and brings a season of experience with her to Troy.
