Despite it being 2,500 miles from home, former USC CB Kevon Seymour wasn't concerned about making the adjustment to Buffalo when he was drafted by the Bills in the sixth round in April. Sporting new colors in a new city, the rookie had confidence in the only piece of familiarity that existed for him on the East Coast: his former teammate and mentor Nickell Robey. The fourth-year CB has been watching out for the rookie through his first six weeks in the NFL, bringing the Trojan Family alive in Buffalo.
Seymour earned first team reps at voluntary OTAs throughout the last month due to teammates' injuries, putting a premium on his ability to adapt to the NFL's tempo. According to the Bills, Robey has gone out of his way to make sure his fellow Trojan gets all the advice, feedback and encouragement he needs to get up to speed.
